Rick's work is the result of a mixture of a fascination with his medium
and form, function, beauty and utility. "Since glass is flowing liquid
as I work with it, I seek to capture a sense of that movement in the fluidity
of forms." Rick's goal is to create objects that people connect with,
find joy in, and feel good using.
His work can be found at 12 galleries around Michigan and 18 different
Art Fairs and exhibitions. Rick's studio is located in Cedarville in a
36' dome.

'Dunn Hill Iron Works' Sculptures,
Hooks, Ornamentals

Dunn Hill Iron Works opened in 1992 to combine Randy's Artists ability with his welding and metallurgy background. Randy has opened a new art gallery on his property you won't want to miss. He enjoys interacting with clients to translate their requests for custom pieces into functional works of art that please and inspire everyone. Much of his work depicts that plants, animals and fish found in Northern Michigan. Some of his pieces include a coffee table that features swans, cattails and lily pads; curtain rods, life-size ornaments of blue heron in cattails, some of his best sellers and many more creative items that capture our area's pristine beauty. Randy and his wife Kim have opened a new art gallery/2003 off Meridian Road, he is also off the beaten path, a must see adventure!!

Julie Porter and Brent Heerspink
- HEERSPINK & PORTER POTTERY husband and wife team, produce wood-fired
pottery in Hessel, MI
Their pottery
is fired in a brick kiln fueled by wood. The raw clay is exposed to the
direct action of the fire and smoke as the flames flow through the kiln.
This "fire marks" or "flashes" the pot with rich variations
of warm color and texture and gives each piece its own individual character.
Heerspink and Porter pottery has been shown in galleries and at art fairs
throughout the United States. Here is just a small sampling, please inquire
for other larger pieces. A unique item that intrigued our customers were
their "Spirit Houses", they also have bowls, wine decanters,
vases, mugs & more.
