Ricks work is the result of a mixture of a fascination with his medium and form, function, beauty and utility.  "Since glass is flowing liquid as I work with it, I seek to capture a sense of that movement in the fluidity of forms".  Ricks goal is to create objects that people connect with, find joy in, and feel good using.

His work can be found at 12 galleries around Michigan and at 18 different art fairs and exhibitions.  Rick's studio is located in Cedarville on Creekside's property in a 36' dome.
